Coffee drunk, heel of sock turned (I only had 4-6 rows left of that particular step to do) next

Turn TV to one of the music channels possibly, though regular programming reminds me of the passage of time.
Kitchen
Sitting Room
Dining room
sock knitting with possible occasional glove knitting
coffee
more coffee
Use of evergreen boughs to welcome the forest gods into the house. (Though guys the inside isn't much warmer than the outside!)

I'm going to try to keep my spirits up in the cleaning by knitting a couple of rows every 20-30 minutes or whenever I feel my spirits flagging.

Merry Christmas!

Yule things

It's cold. You may have noticed. So far we have managed to avoid snow by being in Sligo when it snowed in Maynooth and apparently leaving Sligo when it snowed in the North-West. I maintain this is so that I don't need to worry much about driving (although icy roads without studded tyres are no fun). The cats think the cold weather is disgraceful, and can often be found hugging the walls under radiators.

OWoD stuff...

  • 14th Dec, 2009 at 10:57 AM
...so, this has really resparked my interest in the Cam.

Unfortunately, our local situation is so borked with a lack of a readily accessible game, and the nearest 'may or may not have a game' run by one of the bigger cheats in the Org, that it is somewhat discouraging to get involved again.

However, at least I have a concept, though it'll have to wait for the rules and setting to be clarified a little.

Elder Tremere....or Elder Tremere Antitribu. Same character, only the Sect would be different.

Byzantine era Greek mystic, into the primitive and cruel types of behavior and vampiric folklore of the Greek, Serb, and Bulgar hinterlands of the Empire.

Anyone else considering playing OWoD?

Camarilla/ OWoD- Tremere anyone?

So, I am actually thinking of playing again, as I do like Masquerade (Camarilla, not so much Sabbat). I want to play, but time is an issue, as I'll have three kiddos under three when the venue starts, so unless Fayetteville does OWoD, it'll have to be online, and either way, I am not going to be a frantic/ lots of games/ always answering emails player, though proxying would be very attractive.

With that in mind, I am going to make a neonate Tremere. A stereotypical, toeing-the-line type. Yes, that is similar in broad concept to my first ever Cam larp character (Sarah Goldberg, who rose to Lord of Ireland- still not sure HOW that happened!), but that is where the similarities will end. This one will be a strong, no-nonsense character, probably an academic/ magical researcher type (explaining absences at court etc when I cannot play). Anything else is open to suggestions. Looking for a Sire, and ties too :P
